Nintendo DS as Revolution controller

Here's an idea. How about using the Nintendo DS as a wireless controller option for the Revolution? think about it. It already has a screen and its wifi compatible so its wireless as well. Imagine the possibilities. Remember the Dreamcast with the VMU with displays? Remember the Gameboy Advance as a controller for Final Fantasy on the Gamecube?
This can work. Its up to Nintendo to make it happen. If anything, make it an option to buying another controller. Imagine multiplayer games with 4 people waving those remote control wands around the air....you'd need to give each person a 5 foot perimeter to work their magic. This is great. Lets hope it happens!

Yeah, I think Nintendo did say something about that. If they didn't, it is most likely going to happen, they did it with the SP. It is going to happen. It would be like the same principle with the movement, with the remote, you use your hand with sensors, and with the DS, you use your hand with they stylus, so yeah, that would be great.

I just got a Nintendo DS and the thing is awesome, can't stop playing Meteos.
Anyways, using a DS as a controller is inevitable. It'll be great for strategy game and sports games.
It'd be really nice if they made the Revolution and DS compatible right out of the box. Considering how many people out there already have a DS, this will help gamers save some dough and further convince people that the Revolution is the better choice. I hear Xbox360 wireless controllers are going for $50 each (ouch!).

I don't think you really have to wave your arms around much with the Revolution controller... according to game developers who've used it, you can use it in your lap (at least for some games, like 3D shooters). You just turn it slightly. In fact, during the demos for the developers, the Nintendo people suggested this.
