Nintendo DS as Revolution controller

Here's an idea. How about using the Nintendo DS as a wireless controller option for the Revolution? think about it. It already has a screen and its wifi compatible so its wireless as well. Imagine the possibilities. Remember the Dreamcast with the VMU with displays? Remember the Gameboy Advance as a controller for Final Fantasy on the Gamecube?

This can work. Its up to Nintendo to make it happen. If anything, make it an option to buying another controller. Imagine multiplayer games with 4 people waving those remote control wands around the air....you'd need to give each person a 5 foot perimeter to work their magic. This is great. Lets hope it happens!

Revolution launch: Fall 2006?

Nintendo Power Magazine
There are reports that the Nintendo Power hotline is suggesting a Revolution launch for fall of 2006. It says:

”When Nintendo’s new console, codenamed Revolution, arrives in the later half of 2006, everyone will discover the meaning of all-access gaming.”

Thats 1 year after Xbox360, and probably a few months after Playstation 3. How will Nintendo catch up, or do they even need to? They kind of took themselves out of the competition already if you ask me.

Anyone here a subscriber of Nintendo Power? I used to be, way back.....in the early 90's? The days when the original NES was all that. Sigh, the good'ole times.
